Round Bar Guest Ranch
Spend a girl's day at the Circle Bar Guest Ranch.
Montana is a magical place in summer. The river is cool, the air is fresh, and it feels good to bask in the face. At 5,000 feet above sea level, the 520-acre Circle Bar Ranch sits at the base of the Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forests, allowing guests to explore the mountains on horseback, fish for trout in cascading streams, hike to see abundant wildlife or Overnight in a mountain hut with a mule cart.
Guests can enjoy cocktails and dinner in the cabin. The Lodge also features suites and well-appointed guest rooms. Cookhouse is their honeymoon cabin designed for romance with a sunken fireplace and king-size bed. And then there are the cabins - no two are alike. From Meadowlark to Cayuse, styles, and finishes vary, as do the number of bedrooms.
Horseback Riding is a ranch known for its horses of all experience levels. Guests ride horses across vast grasslands, ride along (and across) the Judith River, and explore the mountains of the National Forest. For more experienced riders, trots and jogs can be incorporated into the ride as the terrain allows. For those who want more comfort in the saddle, classes are available for an extra fee.
There are many activities from archery to swimming to shooting. For the more adventurous, take a UTV tour of the National Forest and hike to a nearby cave. Or visit the nearby Sapphire Village for a taste of the local culture. The nearby mine is the only place where precious Yogo sapphires can be found.
